Kimberley Aboriginal Medical Services Ltd (KAMS) is a regional Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service (ACCHS) dedicated to advocating for and supporting a network of member services across the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Established in 1986, KAMS has expanded its services to provide comprehensive primary health care, advocacy, training, and support for member services, ensuring cultural appropriateness and community control in all initiatives.

Position Overview
The Senior Administration Assistant will be based at Fitzroy Crossing on a full-time basis. You will work closely with the Renal Services Manager to provide essential business support and ensure the efficient operation of the centre. This role encompasses a range of administrative tasks, including managing service agreements, equipment maintenance, report submissions, and reception duties.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, be adept in multitasking, and demonstrate a commitment to the philosophy of Aboriginal Community Control.

Key Responsibilities
- Complete service agreements for preventative maintenance contractors, ensuring compliance with KAMS financial policies.
- Manage building maintenance and repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to service delivery.
- Prepare and submit timely reports, collating data as requested by the Renal Services Manager.
- Order stock and prepare purchase orders in line with KAMS purchasing policies.
- Deliver professional reception services, maintaining a welcoming environment for visitors and clients.
- Support general administrative tasks, including organising meetings and catering arrangements.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong administrative background and possess the following attributes:
- Previous administration experience, with a Certificate IV in administration or a willingness to pursue.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
- Current Federal Police clearance and a "C" class driver’s licence.
Knowledge of the Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation and experience in a renal health environment would be advantageous but are not essential.
Salary & Benefits
This position offers a base salary of $84,206 per annum (pro rata), along with additional benefits
- Accommodation allowance of $7,800 per annum (pro rata)
- Annual airfare benefit of $1,683 (after 12 months of service).
- Option to salary sacrifice up to $30,000 per annum (pro rata).
